The images carry an extremely upbeat and happy feeling through the background music which creates a feeling of action and preparedness for the movie wanting you to continue watching.

The main images prioritized in the opening sequence was the main events from the movie showing this Godzilla monster attacking a town with fearful people running away from it. The other main image were the dates which was in a large, blood red font to evoke the Thriller sense in the movie.

The images create a negative connotation and feeling that something bad or deadly was going to happen by showing Godzilla attacking the people and the color red being symbolic in the whole opening sequence which creates a feeling that it might be the people's blood.

The image also carries the connotations of evil and monster and how people as humans can be infected something like greed or money and money and become evil. The overall connotations that are carried are what the movie is going to be about.

Today my partner and I visited another website. The reason why we visited another website is to increase our knowledge of titles. The website that my partner and I researches were " Watch The Titles". This website was very informative on teachings that we did not previously learn. During this website, we learned the reason for the titles and why it is always at the front of the movie. The reason for that is to give credit to the most important people that created the movie. This idea would include directors, actors, editor and more. Another reason why I titles exist is to give viewers an inference on what the movie is going to be about. The is the reason for titles is the most common reason for titles among all the genres. While going through the website I was impressed how much thought goes into making titles. I also realize how important titles are for every other type of entertainment aside from movies. While studying this website I saw how everything is a calculated step to draw in viewers. I also learned from this website that careers a cam to be made from making titles. All in all throughout studying and learning titles through these websites have been beneficial. To further explain viewing these titles gave me insight on how I should structure my final paragraph. Learning about these titles will ensure that I will produce an accurate representation of what an actual movie looks like.

Title Research: Art of the Title

Today my partner and I started on are quest to know more about the titles that are shown at the beginning of every movie. The reason why we are searching these titles is to find a way to structure our final project. Due to the fact the our project is mainly focused on the first two minutes it is important that we have a title. The titles are the main focus of the beginning. The titles also give the views a idea about what the movie is going to be. What my partner and I learned from this website is that every way that a title is structured has a purpose. The creators of the movie use the titles as a way to give out clues about the movie like previously mentioned. An example of this is in horror movies the titles are usually in red to imitate blood. Another example is in thriller movies the titles would be bold letters. The reason for this is to symbolize the important aspects that will be part of the movie. All in All what I leaned from this is two things while visiting this website. The important symbolism behind movies and how that relates to the genre of your movie. a second thing that I learn while visiting this website is how important titles are for movies.  Using this is mind I believe my partner and I will complete titles that will relate to our genre. The reason is to help symbolize the message behind what me and my partner is trying to say.

• Costume: The actors are all seen wearing casual clothing like jeans, jacket, t-shirt, and sneakers but at some scene the actors are wearing formal attire like a suit and business formal wear when working or at the police station such as the interrogation scene and the negotiation scene between Lou and Nina. 
• Lighting: Most of the low-key dark lighting was used to create a sense of suspicion and mystery against the news director (Rene Russo) who is somehow increasing her station's ratings in order to profit. The lighting also hints at all the crimes across the city Lou captures on his camera.
• Actors: The actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Lou) is a smart man that sells crime scenes to a TV News Manager named Nina. The actors all had to look and act a specific way that relates to living in a crime filled city where everyone is greedy for money and the police is always involved.
• Make-up is mostly used for wounds, blood, for female characters such as Nina the TV news manager, and to create an illusion of being dirty and having scars. 
• Props: The props often used in the movie include vehicles especially because Lou transports around the city using a car most of the time and vehicles is used at the car crash scene. The camera that Lou always carries around with him is the main prop that make Lou the main role in the movie.
• Setting: Most of the scenes in the movie happens in the city in big offices and stations such as the place Nina works for. Most of the time we see scenes of him the car driving around because he out filming different crime scenes so most of the setting takes places on the road.

Elements

• The elements in this movie include a crime scenes and dead corpse's.
• There is a lot of police interaction and interrogation and negotiation.

Elements I Didn't Like

• What I didn't like was that the movie was underrated and deserved to be nominated for the Oscar's but sadly it wasn't. 

Elements I Liked

• I loved the acting in the movie and it brought a sense of excitement to watch and suspense especially because the lighting of the entire movie evoked it.
